The water came like a monster,
breaking homes, silencing streets,
but no flood can drown your spirit.
One day the soil will dry,
the sun will guide your steps,
and life will return to the places you loved.

I know your houses are damp, your memories heavy,
but your courage is greater than the storm.
You have carried pain that words cannot hold,
yet within you, there is an unshakable strength.

My heart is with you.
Your wounds are ours,
your survival is our prayer,
and your tomorrow will be brighter than your yesterday.
